42″ LG OLED Flex monitor/TV with curvature, the degree of which can be controlled with a button

He introduced himself a few days ago monitor by Corsair, where the user can change the curvature according to his own needs. Now we have here LG, which brings something similar to television. It represents OLED Flex TV (model LX3), which can function as a regular flat TV with a 42″ diagonal, but also allows the curvature to be set up to 900R. Moreover, this does not have to happen manually, but with the help of a remote control, i.e. by pressing a button. The user can set 2 default curvature values and these can be recalled from memory. In total, the curvature can be set to 20 different values.

The TV has an OLED display with extremely short responses of 0.1 ms. The surface has a SAR (Super Anti-Reflection) layer that suppresses glare. It is a TV, so the Alpha 9 Gen 5 processor and various intelligent image processing and its “enhancement” (which many film fans will probably turn off) are not surprising. AI can also process sound (AI Game Sound) and there is support for Dolby Atmos and two speakers with a total output of 40W. At the same time, in addition to the TV, it is also a monitor, so it offers unprecedentedly wide positioning options for the TV, namely tilt from -5° to +10°, it is also height adjustable in a range of 140 mm.

The OLED Flex has a Multi View mode (basically PBP) that allows you to display data from two sources simultaneously. The television has a built-in microphone, and allows the connection of a keyboard, mouse and headphones. It connects to a computer or set-top box via HDMI 2.1. It thus handles a maximum of 4K resolution at 120 Hz, VRR (AMD FreeSync Premium and G-Sync Compatible) and ALLM are supported.
