4 ways to quickly and effectively clean the toilet bowl

Cleaning the toilet bowl is a real pain. The means we use are usually full of chemicals and it seems to us that this part of the job always takes a lot of time. Here are some suggestions on how to quickly clean the toilet bowl.

A fragrant combination

Put baking soda (about 200 g) in a container and add a few drops of fresh lemon juice – mix and rub the toilet bowl with it, then leave it on for an hour. Scrub the toilet with a brush and flush. You can repeat this every day for a spotlessly clean toilet bowl.

Borax and lemon

In a similar way as with baking soda, you can also use borax. Mix borax and lemon juice in a ratio of 2:1, then apply it to the cup, leave it for an hour, scrub it with a brush, then run the water.

Pour 350 ml of Coca-Cola into the cup (sprinkle the juice under the edges), then leave it to work for an hour. Cola contains acids, which can “break down” tough stains. If the toilet bowl is very dirty, you can leave the Cola to act overnight. Then just run the water.

Vinegar and oils

For this cleaning method, you need: half a cup (200 ml) of baking soda, 10 drops of tea tree essential oil and half a cup of distilled white vinegar. Pour the soda into the toilet bowl, sprinkle with essential oil, then pour in the vinegar. The water will lather for a few minutes removing tough stains and when the rings just run the water.
