2. Leaked specs
According to rumors, the HTC smartphone has an amoled screen with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. It is unclear how large the display is. We do know that the phone probably runs on Android 13 and has a headphone jack. We rarely see the latter nowadays.
The HTC U23 Pro is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. This chip was announced last year and is quite powerful, but not as fast as, for example, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. That seems to indicate that the U23 Pro will not be a high-end flagship, but more of a midranger. For example, the processor is also in the Xiaomi 13 Lite, which currently costs about 370 euros.
The smartphone is reportedly also equipped with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage space. We can also expect a 108 megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization. The HTC U23 Pro may have three more cameras, but details on this are missing. The battery is probably 4600 mAh in size.
3. Viverse
HTC’s teaser also features the Viverse logo. Viverse is the company’s metaverse platform, which consists of interactive apps, games, and other virtual reality and augmented reality applications. So there is a good chance that the HTC U23 Pro will support Viverse, but we don’t know in what form.
