Aurélie Casse, essential journalist for BFM TV, hosts several programs and juggles between current topics. How does she manage to keep up the pace, manage her stress and escape? Maintenance.
This season, Aurélie Casse is playing Ligne Rouge every Monday from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. and BFM Story on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. She also hosts “Le 90 minutes” from Tuesday to Thursday from 8:13 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Top Santé: You have an intense professional rhythm: how do you manage your stress, lack of sleep or time to eat?
I live offbeat, I have dinner after the air, at 10:30 p.m., which I think is not recommended!!! For me, dinner is a sacred moment; dinner in front of my computer, before the antenna, I can’t do it, especially since I prepare with my team the final adjustments and the writing of the program. It’s a strange feeling not to live at the same pace as others. I have a lot of respect for morning workers.
We keep repeating that physical activity is essential for good health, but it is not always easy to find the time for it. You, do you manage to take this time?
I am absolutely not athletic but I walk a lot. I love hiking because there is always the promise of beautiful scenery. It is not a wasted effort. I sometimes run in the forest. Nothing very regular.
On your Twitter account, it’s a mixture of posts on current events and sharing of your favorites (photos of nature, excerpts from your reading, paintings, film quotes, etc.): is it that these “bubbles” of well-being help you disconnect or recharge your batteries?
I infinitely admire those who have the power to make us travel through their works. Yes it is an escape. Vital. Without these doors that art opens to us, we would go crazy!
