11 princesses Disney en version Spider-Women

Have you ever wanted to mix two worlds that seemingly have nothing in common, to see what result it would give? Harry Potter as Darth Vader? Josephine guardian angel in Sauron? Artist Toha Andreev is as passionate about Spider-Man as he is about Disney animated films. The result is mixtures, to say the least … unexpected.

When disney princesses turn into superheroines

Toha Andreev is an artist who decided to leave the world of professional aviation to focus on his passion, drawing. Regularly, he therefore shares his original creations to some 11,700 subscribers who follow him on his Instagram account (toha_neploho). His designs are generally quite minimalist, very colorful and very cheerful: he does not seek to be realistic, but rather to give free rein to his imagination.

It was this imagination that drove him to mix two universes that are far removed from each other: those of Spider-Man and Disney productions. An idea that came to him after watching the animated film Spider-Man : Into the Spider-Verse at the cinema, the sequel of which should be released this year. The result is Disney princesses who appeared in old movies as well (Cinderella, released in 1950) than more recent (Snow Queen, released in 2015), transformed into Spider-Women. Here are the 11 “spideresses”, as he calls them, imagined by Toha Andreev. To see the rest of his work, we obviously invite you to follow him on social networks.
