11 new educational institutions open in Ossetia after construction and overhaul

And from September 17, the Station of Young Technicians and the Station of Young Naturalists will start operating in Beslan, by October 2022, the Vershina Republican Center for Identifying, Supporting and Developing the Abilities and Talents of Children and Youth “Vershina” will open its doors for gifted children in the region.

The head of North Ossetia-Alania Sergey Menyailo and the Prime Minister of the republic Boris Dzhanaev took part in the solemn opening ceremonies of a number of schools.

The brand new school No. 2, built in Beslan, is designed for 550 students and is equipped to the most modern standards. For teachers, students and parents, this, of course, was an extremely important event, on which the head of the region congratulated them:

– I want to wish our children that they learn in this new school all those important things that they will need in the future in life, – said Sergey Menyailo. – Beslan has gone through a lot. This year, we have done everything to ensure that the measures for the socio-economic development of Beslan are ensured and implemented. For the next year, all issues have been resolved, the President of the Russian Federation has given a direct instruction – all measures for the socio-economic development of Beslan must be provided with extraordinary and full funding. We will pay great attention to other regions of North Ossetia. Until 2025, we will overhaul all the schools of the republic. We will do our best to ensure that our schools have a high level of education.

This comprehensive school was built as part of the implementation of the state program of the Russian Federation “Development of the North Caucasus Federal District”, which is supervised by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. The building was erected on the site of the old dismantled school No. 2, built in 1935. The school has all the conditions for a comfortable stay of children: spacious classrooms, a dining room, two sports and assembly halls, equipped according to modern standards. Computers, microscopes, 3D printers and interactive whiteboards have been purchased.

With the beginning of the school year, the oldest educational institution in the village of Nogir was opened after reconstruction – secondary school No. 1 for 440 students. This event was attended by the Chairman of the Government of North Ossetia-Alania Boris Dzhanaev.

The solemn ceremony began with the raising of the Russian flag and the performance of the anthems of Russia and North Ossetia. Especially for the new tradition introduced in the current academic year in all Russian schools, a flagpole has been installed.

– The historical building of the school is of particular value for the entire Prigorodny district, – Boris Dzhanaev addressed the audience. – Today it has become larger and much more functional. In addition to modern classrooms, a canteen, an assembly hall, new sports grounds have appeared on the territory of the educational institution. The roof was replaced and two new blocks were added, which allowed the educational institution to “grow” by another 160 students. It is important that now students will receive knowledge in modern and progressive conditions.

The prime minister of the republic noted that starting from September and until the end of the year, many new and overhauled schools, centers for children’s creativity, and lyceums will open in North Ossetia. All this, of course, will qualitatively affect the level of education.

Another striking example of this is a new school for 360 students, which opened its doors to students in the village of Chermen in the Prigorodny district. It was erected within the framework of the federal project “Modern School” of the national project “Education”.

The new school has an opportunity to develop specialized education – classes in the chemical and biological direction will open here. Children will be able to develop their creative abilities in chess circles, in a vocal studio, acting skills in a theater association, and a puppet theater will also appear. The school plans to open basketball, volleyball, football sections, a group for gymnastics.

It is important that the opening of school No. 4 made it possible to eliminate the two-shift mode of study in a neighboring institution – secondary school No. 3 in the village of Chermen.
