On Wednesday, according to the National Health Service, the number of Covid-19 patients admitted to severe medical facilities increased, LETA reported.
As reported Press.lv portal, on the previous day, 100 patients with Covid-19 were hospitalized in Latvia, including five transferred.
Currently, 1183 patients with Covid-19 are being treated in Latvian hospitals, of which 1101 people have a moderate course of the disease. 82 patients were hospitalized with a severe course of the disease, which is by far the largest number of such patients.
Over the past day, 122 patients were discharged from the hospital, including five transferred. To date, 4,659 people diagnosed with Covid-19 have been discharged from the hospital.
