[하늘에서 본 북녘] The modern version of Jang Hee-bin’s curse? sorry for korea model

We looked at the recent appearance of some of the models mimicking South Korea’s major facilities that North Korea built for infiltration drills against South Korea at military training grounds in Google Earth satellite images.

There is a general artillery shooting training ground in Daewon-ri, Sadong-gu, in the southeastern part of Pyongyang City (Figure 1). Here, eight targets are spread across the slopes of the low ridge for 3.4 km horizontally from No. 1 to No. 8. The surrounding hills are bare mountains, where forests are hard to find, and they contrast with the green forest area far behind. In the lower center of Figure 1, a model simulating the Blue House is left in a broken and ghastly state.

At the Daewon-ri Comprehensive Training Center in Sadong District, Pyongyang, the targets numbered 1 to 8 are spread out horizontally for 3.4 km in length with target numbers in white letters, and a model of the Blue House is installed in the lower part of the center. /photo = Google Earth

If you look at the enlarged images of targets 5 and 6 in Figure 2, you can see traces of forest fires that appear to have been caused by artillery grenades around the targets. The area of the forest fire is 2.64 hectares and 0.45 hectares, respectively, and at target number 6 (diameter: 220 m short x 270 m long), from the outer circle, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 points are written in white letters. score is indicated. The five-point outer circle is about 240 m in diameter, and the central 10-point circle is 85 m in diameter. The fire marks outside of target 6 appear to have been zero-point grenades.

In the enlarged image of the Blue House model (Figure 3), the structure collapsed, leaving only the skeleton, and the entire building collapsed.

In Figure 4, the left is a model of the Blue House before it was destroyed, and the right is the actual Blue House in Seoul. The model was built about 1/3 the size of the real thing. The shape of the roof of the model’s central main building and wing building, as well as the landscaping trees and lawn in front of the entrance, are very similar to the real thing.

Figure 4. A replica model depicting the Blue House was installed at the Daewon-ri General Artillery Training Center in the Sadong District, Pyongyang. Afterwards, only the skeleton remained and all that remained during the infiltration drill against South Korea were destroyed, leaving only the hideous remains (Figure 3). The size is about 1/3 of the real thing. /photo = Google Earth

Near Gusan-ri, Yeongbyeon-gun, North Pyongan Province, there is also a model modeled after Gyeryongdae, the combined military base of the 3rd Army, Navy, and Air Force. The shape of the octagon and the shape of the center structure are similar. The size of the model is about 1/4 of the real one, and it is located 9 to 10 km northwest from the Yongbyon nuclear facility.

In addition, a model of Panmunjom is installed 14 to 15 km northwest of the Kaesong Industrial Complex. Model facilities such as the Peace House, the Freedom House, and Panmungak are visible (Figure 6).

In addition, it is said that models modeled after major facilities in Korea, such as Incheon International Airport, have been installed elsewhere. The intention of installing this model is by no means intended to imitate the Republic of Korea. It is an eerie sight that threatens the existence and safety of the Republic of Korea.

I’m worried that the people in our Blue House will have trouble sleeping or that their beds will be crushed. Despite such curses being poured out in the northern land, I have not heard of rumors about the health of the people working at the Blue House, so it is a very fortunate thing. Considering that the successive presidents who were there generally died of misfortune or suffered bad luck in their later years due to disgrace and hardship, I wonder if it was because of the curse.

Although North Korea has been advocating anti-Japanese and anti-Americanism, I have not heard of any military training conducted by modeling major facilities of Japan or the United States. Usually, he instigated propaganda in front of peace and between our people, but from behind, he secretly provoked only the Republic of Korea for an opportunity and poured a curse on him.

It is a well-known fact that the share of the international aid they have received from the Republic of Korea accounts for a large portion, and the Republic of Korea will take the lead in helping and defending them in the future, more than any other country. The world will know the efforts of this government, which has been paying attention to the international community to give them one more thing, and has tried to defend and protect them.

However, even knowing what made them curse the Republic of Korea, it is impossible to know. If we have helped a third country other than North Korea, that is, Southeast Asia or Africa in that way, they will truly recognize us as a country of benefactors and the whole world will praise us as a model example. If you are not compassionate, you should know grace and know gratitude.

On the other hand, looking at the horribly shattered model of the Blue House reminds us of an old historical story called ‘The Curse of Jang Hee-bin’. During the 19th king of the Joseon Dynasty, King Sukjong, Heebin Jang Ok-jeong made a target to curse Queen Inhyeon and stabbed a burn in the middle of the palace, and invited a shaman to the palace to fight a curse. It leads to the knighthood of the struggle.

Two people who inherited power after grandfather and father, if they want to enjoy the glory of wealth and glory as well as heavenly beasts, it is a matter of putting aside the curses and using their hearts wisely. In history, Hui-bin Jang, the mother of King Gyeongjong in his 20s, is expelled from the palace, and in the end, he receives a private medicine and bleeds gold ginseng (silk red ginseng), ending his life of misfortune. This is the first half of the plot of Waltan Park Jong-hwa’s historical novel ‘Blood of Geumsam’. As you may have heard of our Joseon history, “Who is Heebin Jang and what is Gyeongjong?” I don’t know if I will The history of our people is very unfamiliar to the young North Korean students, who will know every single detail about the Kim Il-sung family, even if the authenticity is unclear.
